Mission Statement

The Archives is the official memory unit of the University. By collecting materials from the past, it serves the present, and by collecting materials of the present, it serves the future. The Archives bridges the gap between the past, present, and future by preserving all types of materials which document the growth and development of the University since its beginning as a two-year college for women in 1950.

Materials are collected from administrators, faculty, staff, alumni, and students of the University and are made available to them for the purposes of historical research and information.
