Rose Bente Lee Center

The Rose Benté Lee Center is a great place to relax, refresh, and recharge. Members of the Marymount community come to this multipurpose facility to enjoy lunch or a late-night snack in Bernie’s Café, watch the MU Saints athletic teams in action in the Verizon Sports Arena, swim a few laps in the pool, shoot some hoops in the Recreational Gym, purchase textbooks, pick up their mail, or hang out with friends.

The Lee Center has been the venue for many special events, including academic convocations; the annual Portfolio in Motion student fashion show; programs featuring distinguished speakers such as Archbishop Desmond Tutu; and concerts by such popular performers as Gavin DeGraw, Josh Kelley, and the Pat McGee Band.

The Lee Center is the hub for campus life, a central gathering place where campus members can interact, relax, and exchange ideas. The mission of the Lee Center is to provide a diverse environment for the University community; a place where students, faculty, staff, and guests are able to gather, participate, embrace, and learn through diverse programming and co-curricular experiences fostering a strong sense of community.
