School of Business Administration
Welcome to the School of Business Administration at Marymount University!
We offer innovative programs in business, economics, and information technology that serve the needs of our students and our region. At the undergraduate level, students may choose from a variety of degree paths in business, economics and the rapidly changing field of information technology.
At the graduate level our programs include degree, dual-degree and certificate programs in business, management, information technology and cybersecurity. Grounded in the tradition of Catholic higher education, our programs stress academic excellence, service to others, global engagement and the development of ethical and socially responsible leaders.
The School of Business Administration is located in the brand new, state of the art Ballston Center building in the heart of the Ballston business community, a few short miles from Washington D.C. Students live and learn in the national capital region, an epicenter for dialogue, engagement and diversity. Our prime location provides unparalleled opportunities for experiential learning through internships, service learning, study abroad, and community engagement. Moreover, our students have the opportunity to watch history making events in the nation’s capital unfold right within their community!
The classroom experience is characterized by small class sizes and dedicated faculty. Our faculty combine expertise in their fields with real world business experience to stay in tune with industry developments and policy conversations. They lead students by example through their commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship that informs their teaching, and the practice of engaged service.
Marymount University is designated as a National Center for Academic Excellence for Cyber Defense by the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security. In the School of Business Administration our business programs are accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), and our Healthcare Management program is accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME).
