Dr. Rosemarie Berman joined the faculty of Marymount University in 2008, and brings expertise in baccalaureate nursing curriculum, program development, and outcomes assessment. She has recently authored a chapter on Teaching the RN-to-BSN Student, and is involved in integrating active learning strategies to enhance student engagement. Dr. Berman is also collaborating with faculty from other disciplines on the use of reflection as a teaching-learning-practice strategy.

Dr. Berman has presented on a variety of topics, including the transition to parenthood, prenatal education, nursing research, integrating evidence-based practice into the nursing curriculum, and addressing the nursing faculty shortage.

Dr. Berman is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, Association of Women’s Health and Neonatal Nurses, and Lamaze International. Her personal interests include travel, hiking, reading, and baking desserts.
