Information for Faculty

What will you DISCOVER at Marymount?

Through DISCOVER, Marymount University students learn how to learn – by asking questions, probing beyond the surface, and working one-on-one with Marymount’s scholarly faculty in a variety of disciplines. It’s called inquiry-based learning, and it’s a fundamental facet of Marymount’s DISCOVER program, which fosters and supports research and creative activities in all academic programs at the University.

This multi-dimensional program is based at Marymount’s DISCOVER Center, which coordinates the Office of Undergraduate Research, the First-Year Experience classes, the annual Student Research Conference, student conference travel support, and the Summer Research Program for students and faculty mentors.

The mission of the DISCOVER Center is to promote student engagement in the Marymount University learning community, as well as broader national and international communities of learners, through research, creative work, and inquiry learning.

Faculty: DISCOVER how you can be part of this dynamic learning community as you navigate these pages.
