Gabriela Flores

Gabriela is a fourth-year student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Education. Originally from Honduras, Gabriela has a passion for diversity, making everyone feel accepted, and brightening people’s days. As a Wellness Ambassador, Gabriela enjoys advocating for mental health, well-being, and posting educational Tik Toks for the student population. With certifications in leadership for social change and peer education, Gabriela values being a resource for those on campus and can be found hosting events with ACE and other groups. Outside her academic life, you can catch Gabriela listening to music, playing her ukulele, and daydreaming about books and research.

Kate Horton

Kate is a transfer student from Columbus, Ohio, pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She lives in Arlington with her Great Dane, Harley, who you may see walking on campus! Outside of her studies, Kate volunteered at a wildlife hospital, helping to rehabilitate many wild animals native to central Ohio. She manages the Office of Wellness posts on Instagram as well as attending many of the educational events the Office hosts! She is passionate about animal welfare and human rights and hopes to promote mental well-being and self-advocacy as a Wellness Ambassador for her fellow students at Marymount.

 

 


Avianna WatersWellness Ambassadors

Avianna Waters is a junior majoring in Biology with a concentration in Pre-Med. She is originally from Prince George’s County, Maryland and is very excited to be one of your Wellness Ambassadors for the 2023-2024 school year. Some facts about Avianna include the fact that she loves animals (especially dogs) and also enjoys swimming in her free time.

 

 


Emily CardozaWellness Ambassadors

Emily is a junior here at Marymount majoring in Psychology. She is originally from Washington, D.C. and is also Salvadoran! Emily is looking forward to becoming more involved on campus. She is very passionate about promoting self care, including mental health, especially as a college student. During her free time, Emily likes to do nails and spend time with her dog aka fur baby, Osito (Teddy).
