2017-2018 Graduate Student Orientations

Attending an orientation is mandatory for some programs, as listed below.  All admitted students are encouraged to attend orientation as those who have attended in the previous years have given positive feedback about their experience.

All students are highly encouraged to attend the Graduate Orientation and Welcome event to take advantage of the workshops, the resource fair, ID and Parking services, and social events.

Graduate Orientation for Fall & Summer:

Mandatory program orientation, can fulfill on Friday, June 9th OR Saturday, August 26th:

  • Forensic and Legal Psychology

Mandatory orientation will be held on Friday, June 9th:

  • Counseling Masters programs in Clinical Mental Health and Pastoral Counseling

Mandatory orientation will be held on Saturday, August 26th, but students are welcome and encouraged to attend any of the events at the June 9th orientation, where there will also be program specific meet and greet opportunity during program breakout times.

  • English and Humanities
  • M.Ed.
  • All School of Business programs:
    • Cybersecurity
    • Health Care Management
    • Human Resource Management
    • Information Technology
    • Leadership and Management
    • M.B.A.

Not mandatory but program orientations will be held on both June 9th and August 26th:

  • Health Education and Promotion
  • Interior Design
  • Nursing Programs
