2018-2019 Admitted Graduate Student  Welcome and Orientation Events

Attending a program orientation is mandatory for some programs, as listed below. 

Spring Welcome and Orientation: Friday, January 11th, 2019

Time:  Late afternoon/Early Evening
Location:  Ballston Center (1000 N. Glebe)

Orientation Schedule

Student ID Card

To obtain your Student ID card at the January 11th Graduate Welcome and Orientation, you must register for courses by January 9th and complete this form for the ID.  This method of obtaining your Student ID gives you the opportunity to upload your own headshot and look your best.  

Parking Pass

To obtain your parking pass at the January 11th Graduate Welcome and Orientation, we strongly encourage you to complete and bring this form with you. 

Mandatory Program Orientations at January 11th Orientation Event:

  • Full-time MSN *(This orientaiton session will be held at 9am, January 11th at the Reinsch Library on Main campus)
  • Education Programs
  • All School of Business Programs

Program orientations offered and encouraged but not required

  • English and Humanities
  • Health Education and Promotion
  • Interior Design

International Students

Please note you are also required to attend the International Student Check-In Event.
 

Newly Admitted Student Events

These are opportunities to get to know faculty, current students, alumni, and staff from various offices in a relaxed atmosphere.  We hope that you can join us as newly admitted students report this as their favorite new student event!
