Medical and Health Insurance Requirements
Student Medical Form:
The Medicat Patient Portal contains the health forms that all admitted students are required to complete to study at Marymount University.
- The required forms on the Medicat Patient Portal are the TB Skin test (PPD) Screening Questions, the Emergency contact form, the Proof of Immunization and the Minor Consent (if applicable)
- All forms need to be completed in English no later than August 1st. Failure to do so will result in a restriction or hold placed on your account and delay in registering for classes
- Please log in to Medicat and view the Health Care Welcome Letter for additional important information
- Follow these directions to log in to medicat.
Marymount requires all undergraduate students taking 12 or more credits and graduate students taking 9 or more credits to have health insurance. The University sponsors a low-cost student health insurance plan for graduate and undergraduate students. All full-time registered students will automatically be charged the premium for this insurance plan on their Student Accounts bill.
Health Insurance Waiver:
If you already have adequate medical insurance coverage and do not require the insurance coverage offered through Marymount’s plan, please complete the online waiver form by the deadline given. After your waiver is approved, your student account will be credited. This waiver must be completed at the beginning of each academic year before the stated deadline. Otherwise, Marymount will charge you automatically for its insurance plan.
