Marymount University and the International Student Services Office (ISS) are committed to a student-centered learning community that values diversity. ISS strives to further global awareness through a wide variety of intercultural and educational programs for the University community, these programs give an opportunity for students to share their rich cultures and be engaged in the University community.

Weekly Coffee Hour

Date: Fridays
Time: 3:00 PM-4:30 PM
Location: Gerard Lobby
Description: Weekly meeting of International Club, comprising of international students and American students where participants are able to learn and exchange ideas and improve their multicultural learning experience here at Marymount.  Sessions include country presentations, discussions, film shows, social outings and other exciting activities.

Biweekly Pizza Conversation Group

Date: ​Every other Thursday

 Time: 12:00 – 1:00 pm
Location: Gerard Lounge 1002
Description: Come and talk about topics that concern us as international students. It's a safe, supportive and non-judgemental atmosphere. 
Pizza lunch provided

Wednesday November 20th from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. - Conference Center
Description: F-1 visa holding students must attend a workshop so they can learn about internships and employment opportunities after graduation. International student advisors will go over the application requirements and deadlines.

Hayride and Bonfire

Date: Friday October 18th, 5:00 p.m.
Location: We will meet in Gerard Lobby 
Description:  A trip to Butler's Orchard in Maryland where students will enjoy a traditional Fall hayride, bonfire and s'mores! Transportation will be provided. 10 $ deposit and Student ID required.
