Student Health Services

Student Health Services (SHS) provides diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries to MU students. We provide many of the routine services offered at primary healthcare offices including laboratory studies, immunizations, prescriptions, allergy injections, specialist and radiology referrals.

Healthcare services are available to all students who are actively enrolled in classes. Our staff of nurses and nurse practitioners are available daily for healthcare services. A physician and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) are available weekly.

Fees for 2024-2025:

• Injections (monthly, allergy etc.) $75/semester
• nursing or physical therapy physicals at SHS, $25 fee
• PMHNP $100/semester

These charges can be paid at the time of the appointment in form of cash or credit. Other services are subject to be billed to insurance. Insurance information needs to be submitted at time of appointment.

Effective August 1, 2023, there will be a $25 No Show fee after two (2) missed appointments. This fee will be charged to the student’s account.
