April 6 - COVID-19 Update (April 6, 2020)

Dear Marymount Community,

I hope you had a relaxing weekend and are having a good start to Holy Week 2020. Please see below for our latest announcements regarding COVID-19’s continued impact on campus:

Student Affairs
Please click here for this week’s edition of the Student Affairs virtual events calendar. We will be including this in the COVID-19 email update every Monday to let you know about the latest fun, helpful and engaging activities you can participate in while learning and working remotely. Should you have communication/access needs, please let us know and we will work to make programs you attend accessible to you.

Holy Week Observances
Even while we social distance, our friends at St. John the Beloved are making sure you can observe Holy Week from wherever you are. They will livestream their Mass of the Last Supper at 8 pm on Holy Thursday, their Celebration of the Lord’s Passion at 3 pm on Good Friday and their Easter Vigil Mass at 8 pm on Saturday.

Also available are videos and livestreams from the Vatican. We have a list of scheduled liturgies and services at St. Peter’s Basilica on the Marymount website.

I wish you all a successful and meaningful week ahead!

Be safe and healthy, and God bless,

Irma Becerra, Ph.D.
