April 15 - COVID-19 Update (April 15, 2020)

Dear Marymount Community,

Happy Wednesday to you all! Please see below for our latest announcements regarding COVID-19’s continued impact on campus:

Emergency Tuition Assistance
The application deadline for emergency tuition assistance is tomorrow, April 16. If you are a student who meets the below conditions, make sure to apply as soon as possible.

Current students who have been impacted financially in the form of job loss/reduction (student or parent) or a medical situation as a result of COVID-19 may apply for short-term emergency tuition assistance. Priority will be given to students in the highest financial need tiers. Funds will be applied to Spring 2020 tuition and fee balances only. Requests are limited to $2,000 per student, and most grants will be under $1,000. This funding does not need to be repaid. Looking ahead, Marymount’s COVID-19 task force is shifting its attention towards preparing the University for the return of traditional, in-person classes on campus in the fall. We’ll have more information and news concerning these efforts in the coming weeks.

Be safe and healthy, and God bless,
