Endowing a Scholarship
Endowing a scholarship is a meaningful way to honor a loved one, alumna/us, faculty member, or your own Marymount experience. Endowed scholarships:
- exist in perpetuity
- may be named for the donor or someone the donor wishes to honor
- ensure lasting support for Marymount University, its students, and faculty.
The minimum gift level to endow a scholarship is $25,000. This assures an annual scholarship award of approximately $1,000. Larger gift levels will increase the annual scholarship award. Many donors choose to endow a scholarship with pledge payments over one, two, or three years.
As the benefactor of an endowed scholarship, you will be invited to our annual Scholarship Luncheon hosted by President Shank, where you will have the opportunity to meet your scholarship recipient(s).
