Poet Earl Braggs Visits Marymount

Overview:
Marymount Department of Literature & Languages and the School of Design, Arts, and Humanities welcomes poet and professor Earl Braggs (University of Tennessee, Chattanooga) to campus on Wednesday, November 20, at 6:30pm. Professor Braggs is the Herman H. Battle Professor of African American Studies at the University of Tennessee, where he teaches creative writing, poetry and African Literature. He is the author of 12 collections of poetry. Braggs' latest book is Negro Side of the Moon. His novel Looking For Jack Kerouac was a finalist in the James Jones First Novel Contest. 

Please join us for a poetry reading and discussion. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
