Defined Contribution Retirement Plan
After one year of full-time employment as a faculty or staff member, Marymount contributes 8% of your salary to this plan – no matching contributions are required. The money contributed to this plan is immediately vested and the value of your retirement account is equal to the sum of all MU contributions plus any earnings from investments.
TIAA-CREF, our retirement vendor, offers MU employees several investment choices. You may divide your contributions among these funds or select a single fund to receive your contributions. Your investment choices are not permanent. You may change your fund choices at any time by calling TIAA-CREF at (800) 842-2776 or visiting www.tiaa-cref.org.
If you prefer, you can have your retirement investments professionally managed using a strategically developed, disciplined approach that TIAA-CREF calls its Lifecycle Funds.

How Do I Enroll?
The Defined Contribution Plan will automatically enroll you into this plan once you become eligible. If you would like to enroll yourself prior to your eligibility date in order to choose your funds, please follow the instructions on the How to Enroll sheet.
Once you have completed the form, please return them to the Human Resource Office in Ireton Hall.
