As a dually certified nurse practitioner in pediatrics and women’s health, Dr. Claman has over 30 years experience in delivering health care to some of the most vulnerable populations, nationally and abroad. Committed to continued clinical excellence, she maintains a practice at the Arlington Health Department and the Arlington Free Clinic.
Prior to her joining the faculty at Marymount, Dr. Claman has taught nursing education at various institutions across the United States, both classroom and web based.
Dr. Claman is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, National Association of Pediatric Nurse Associates and Practitioners, and the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health.
Dr. Claman peer reviewed publications focus on educational strategies in nursing and primary care issues.
