Vision and Mission

Vision Statement

The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) seeks to develop and foster a University culture of research, innovation, discovery, and partnership.

Mission

OSP exists to help University faculty and staff to increase the number of research, programs, services, and other scholarly and creative pursuits that are successful in competitive external funding opportunities from public, private, corporate, and global funding entities (Sponsors), while also ensuring the University’s financial, contractual, and regulatory risks are minimized.

Core Values

OSP implements its vision and mission through programs and services that are rooted in the core values of the office. These values guide the way the office conducts its business and relates to others who are internal and external to the University.
