A student who fails to pay in full as scheduled will have his/her transcripts, registration, and diploma withheld until the outstanding balance is paid in full. The University will make every effort to contact the student and collect the outstanding balance. However, if the University’s attempts are unsuccessful, the account will be turned over to an agency for collection or to attorneys for litigation. The student will be responsible for all costs, including collection agency fees ( up to 33 1/3 percent on the assigned balance), attorney fees, and variable court costs.
Students who would like to submit appeals for balances that have already been sent to a collection agency may submit their appeal via email at SAappeal@marymount.edu.
All past-due balances, including spring and summer 2019, must be paid in-full on or before August 15, 2019. Any student with a past-due balance, including spring and/or summer 2019, will have their fall 2019 classes dropped on August 16.
