Hello! My name is Shatha Abulohom and I am originally from Yemen. I graduated from Marymount University in 2017 with a BA in Fashion Design and I am currently enrolled in the MBA program. I chose Marymount for its small class size and the opportunity of having a one-on-one relationship with the professors. Marymount also has a strong sense of community. After Graduation I hope to work in the business side of the fashion industry. I really enjoy traveling and exploring hidden wonders. Contact me via email.
Hello! My name is Nathan Reza and I am a first year graduate student in Marymount University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. I graduated from James Madison University in 2016 with a B.S. in Psychology. I was drawm to Marymount University because the courses offered through the program are very applicable to the actual counseling profession. Additionally, I chose Marymount for the small class sizes, faculty with diverse academic interests, and for the proximity of the University to D.C. and all of the opportunities provided by living in the area. After graduating, I plan to work with adults dealing with depression, PTSD, anxiety, and other various mental and emotional issues. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, traveling, cooking, and playing music. Please feel free to reach out to me via email.

I chose Marymount for its flexibility, many opportunities, and small class sizes. After graduating, I plan to teach composition to ESL students in community college. When spare time presents itself I enjoy hiking, traveling, writing, and cooking. Please feel free to reach out to me via email.
Hi everyone! My name is Nicole Lefman and I’m in my second year of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate program here at Marymount. I’m originally from Illinois, about an hour outside of Chicago, and graduated with a Masters degree in sociology from Illinois State a University in 2004. I spent many years working as an independent contractor for the government and traveling overseas with my spouse and three kids. As an older student, the thought of changing careers was intimidating at first but Marymount has been an excellent place to start my new journey! I love the coursework and the skills I’m learning will be directly applicable to what I will do as a counselor in the future, but it’s the faculty and tight-knit student community that make Marymount so special! Please email me if you have any questions!
