MU ALERT ISSUED

Liberal Studies (BA)

Marymount’s B.A. in Liberal Studies is ideal for transfer students who would like to study more than one field, as well as adult learners returning to school with transferable college credits. The program is unique in that it offers students the opportunity to satisfy multiple interests.

All students choose two concentrations from the following areas:

  • Biology/Physical Sciences
  • Business and related fields
  • Communication
  • English
  • Fine and Applied Arts
  • Gender and Society
  • Graphic Design
  • History
  • Humanities
  • Information Technology
  • Mathematics
  • Philosophy/Religious Studies/Theology
  • Politics
  • Psychology/Sociology/Criminal Justice

Because of the variety of concentration combinations possible through Marymount’s Liberal Studies program, it is difficult to predict what NOVA courses a student should take in order to maximize their transferability to Marymount’s program.

Speak with an advisor and review Marymount’s B.A. in Liberal Studies requirements. Please click here for more information about NOVA courses that fulfill Liberal Arts Core requirements.
