Catholic High School Scholarships for First-Year Students


We celebrate the students who wish to continue their Catholic education in college. The following scholarships and admission agreements are just one way we support students who are committed their calling to further their education in the Catholic tradition.


Catholic High School Scholarship

This $2,000 tuition scholarship is automatically offered to full-time freshman applicants who have graduated or will graduate from a Catholic high school. This scholarship is renewable for up to four years of study, provided the student maintains good academic standing at Marymount.


Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary (RSHM) Education Continuum

Marymount University is committed to the RSHM educational and service mission, and provides an additional $1,000.00 scholarship yearly, to students that are coming from an RSHM school.


School-specific Catholic Scholarships and Admission Agreements


St. John's Catholic Preparatory High School

  • Saint John’s Catholic Prep students with a 3.0 grade point average (no required test score) or a 2.8 GPA and a 1030 SAT (or a 20 ACT composite) are guaranteed admission to Marymount. 
  • Students will be awarded a minimum $12,500 scholarship from Marymount, renewable annually for up to four years, provided they maintain good standing. 
  • Students will be awarded an additional $2,000 Saint John’s Catholic Prep scholarship in addition to the $2,000 Catholic High School scholarship, both renewable for up to four years of full-time enrollment. 

 

St. Maria Goretti High School

  • St. Maria Goretti students with a 3.0 grade point average (no required test score) or a 2.8 GPA and a 1030 SAT (or a 20 ACT composite) are guaranteed admission to Marymount.
  • Students will be awarded a minimum $12,500 scholarship from Marymount, renewable annually for up to four years, provided they maintain good standing.
  • Students will be awarded an additional $2,000 St. Maria Goretti’s High School scholarship and a $2,000 Catholic High School scholarship, both renewable for up to four years of full-time enrollment.
 

Trinity High School (Camp Hill, PA)

  • In addition to meeting the admission requirements of Marymount University, the student must have a minimum 3.0 GPA (no test score required) or a 2.8 GPA with a 1020 SAT / 20 ACT.
  • Students will be awarded a minimum $12,500 scholarship from Marymount, renewable annually for up to four years, provided they maintain good standing.
  • All eligible Trinity students will be awarded a $2,000 Catholic School Scholarship and a $2,000 Trinity High School Scholarship, renewable for up to four years (a maximum of eight semesters), provided they maintain good standing.

Delone Catholic High School (McSherrystown, PA)

  • Delone Catholic students with a 3.0 GPA (no required test score) or a 2.8 GPA and a 1030 SAT score (or a 20 ACT composite) are guaranteed admission to Marymount.
  • Students who meet the above criteria will be awarded a minimum $12,500 scholarship from Marymount, renewable annually for up to four years, provided they maintain good academic standing.
  • All Delone Catholic students will also be awarded an additional $2,000 Delone Catholic High School Scholarship and a $2,000 Catholic High School Scholarship, both renewable for up to four years of full-time enrollment. Combined, this creates a potential $66,000 value in scholarships for students over a four-year period.
  • Students may be eligible for additional merit scholarships based on GPA and/or SAT/ACT scores.
  • All residential students will also receive an annual residential grant of $2,000 for as long as they reside in on-campus housing at Marymount.
