Academic Advising Center
The Academic Advising Center's academic advisors are ready to help you decide on your path to graduation here at Marymount University.
The Academic Advising Center is part of the MU Success Space in Rowley G105 where professional academic advisors serve as educational resources to students. An academic advisor is responsible for the overall educational support on academic curricula. They assist by planning schedules, recommending courses, and evaluating transfer transcripts. An academic advisor also provides appropriate educational options for specialized populations such as at-risk students, directing them to university resources based on their needs. They work together with students to monitor their degree plans, with the goal of graduating in four years. Additionally, academic advisors take a student-centered approach to learning, focusing on the education of the whole person by assessing individual needs, providing appropriate referrals and helping students understand university policies and procedures.
