Interpreter Requests

Students Requiring an Interpreter

Students who require the assistance of a sign language interpreter in classes are responsible for submitting the Interpreter Services Request Form to

These services are provided by external contractors and require advance notification. When possible, students should request services at least 2 weeks prior to requested service date.

Canceling Interpreter Services

Students should cancel services at least a week in advance when an absence is planned. It is the student’s responsibility to notify SAS if he/she will be absent from a class period so that services may be canceled.

Faculty / Staff Requiring an Interpreter

Faculty and or Staff member sponsoring an event should complete and submit the Non-student Interpreter Request form to
