Graduation Applications

Marymount University confers degrees in May, August, and December, with one formal Commencement ceremony in May.

In order to graduate with a degree or earn a certificate from Marymount University, you must submit a graduation application via the online graduation application in Marynet by the deadline indicated online. (Certificate students do not participate in the Commencement ceremony.) Certificate students applying after the regular deadlines should complete a Graduation Application for Certificate Programs.

Summer 2018 graduates not participating the May 2018 Commencement Ceremony should complete the Summer 2018 Graduation Application.

* After these deadlines applications must be submitted on paper and will be assessed a $50 late application fee.

**Students who submit their application after the published deadline may not receive their diplomas by the close of the semester, may not graduate until the next graduation date, and may not be listed in the spring Commencement programs. Students who submit an application after October 30, 2017 will not be eligible to participate in the May 2018 Commencement exercises.

***Students applying for Summer graduation who are not participating in the May 2018 Commencement Ceremony will need to complete the paper summer graduation application if applying between October 15, 2017 - May 22, 2018. Prior to October 15th, students may submit an online application through Marynet. Summer 2018 applications submitted after May 22, 2018 will be assessed a $50 late application fee.

The completion of a Graduation Application does not guarantee that you will graduate. Your degree audit will be completed by the School in which you are matriculated once you applied to graduate. The degree audit will determine if you are eligible to graduate.
