Graduation Applications

Marymount University confers degrees in May, August, and December, with one formal Commencement ceremony in May.

In order to graduate with a degree or earn a certificate from Marymount University, you must submit a graduation application via the online graduation application in Marynet by the deadline indicated online. (Certificate students do not participate in the Commencement ceremony.) Certificate students applying after the regular deadlines should complete a Graduation Application for Certificate Programs.

Beginning May 8, 2018, applications for Fall 2018 graduation are late and students must apply using the late paper application. Late applications will be assessed a $50 late fee. Students who submit an application for Fall 2018 graduation after October 31, 2018 will not be eligible to participate in the May 2019 Commencement ceremony. Beginning November 1, 2018, applications for Spring 2019 graduation are late and students must apply using the late paper application. Late applications will be assessed a $50 late fee. Students who submit an application for Spring 2019 graduation after October 31, 2018 will not be eligible to participate in the May 2019 Commencement ceremony. Students who submit an application for Spring 2019 graduation after October 31, 2018 will not be eligible to participate in the May 2019 Commencement Ceremony. If a student is applying for Summer 2019 graduation after 10/31/18, they must follow the Summer 2019 (Not participating in
May 2019 Commencement Ceremony) deadlines.
Beginning February 21, 2019, application for Summer 2019 graduation are late and students must apply using the late paper application. Late applications will be assessed a $50 late fee. 

 
Please note: Students who submit their application after the published deadline may not receive their diplomas by the close of the semester, may not graduate until the next graduation date, and may not be listed in the spring Commencement program. Students who submit an application after October 31, 2018 will not be eligible to participate in the May 2019 Commencement ceremony.

The completion of a Graduation Application does not guarantee that you will graduate. Your degree audit will be completed by the School in which you are matriculated once you applied to graduate. The degree audit will determine if you are eligible to graduate.
