CGE Faculty & Staff Lunchtime Discussion: Promoting Global Mindedness in Generation Z

Wednesday, November 14, 2018, 12pm – 1pm, Gomatos Information Room

Join the Center for Global Education for a faculty and staff lunchtime discussion on how to promote global mindedness in Generation Z students. With the entrance of new students from Generation Z, we need to consider new teaching and learning strategies to best meet their educational needs and promote global competence. The Center for Global Education will share and inspire ways to incorporate international perspectives in the classroom and in co-curricular campus activities.  At this workshop, we will review the demographic characteristics of this unique generation, explore preferred and effective educational methods for this group, and brainstorm ideas on how to foster global learning on the Marymount campus. Lunch will be provided.
