Lindsay joins Marymount after success as both a corporate and campus recruiter for a top consulting firm. She also brings experience as a career advisor for online students where she developed ways Career Services offerings can reach a larger audience. In her role as a career coach for students and alumni, Lindsay stresses the importance of ‘beginning with the end in mind’ and is committed to starting students off on the right path to help them achieve professional success. Lindsay is an active member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and the National Career Development Association. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from James Madison University.
Mr. Pomeroy serves as a facilitator and liaison for students seeking internships by monitoring student performance, reviewing student reports and portfolios, performing site visits, and managing an extensive database of internship contacts to help all Marymount students find fulfilling and worthwhile internships and careers. Mr. Pomeroy has taught micro- and macro-economics at Marymount since 1980. His economics degree was obtained from Georgetown University and he completed graduate studies in economics at the George Washington University. Mr. Pomeroy served as Director for the Department of Defense’s premiere housing allowance program, an industry economist at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, and as a research fellow at the President's Cost of Living Council. His additional interests include U.S./international mountaineering, competitive cycling, and creative arts, including watercolor painting and ink drawing.
