Information Systems

Information Systems equips students with the expertise needed to design support networks, provide technical support to system users, analyze business operations, and design and manage Web sites. Students are encouraged to work in campus computer labs and pursue internships for hands-on experience. Students in this specialty are prepared for industrywide certification, such as CompTia’s A+, Net+ , and Security+. A minor in Business Administration is recommended for students in this specialty.

  • LA 248 Business Law I
  • MGT 304 Organizational Management
  • IT 380 Electronic Document and Record Management
  • 1 elective from any of the following disciplines: Accounting (ACT), Information Technology (IT), Graphic Design (GD), Management (MGT), Management Science (MSC), or Marketing (MKT)
