Business Administration (B.B.A.)

Program Requirements

All B.B.A. majors take coursework that builds on the foundation provided by the Liberal Arts Core and B.B.A. core. The specialty allows student to tailor their degree to fit their individual interests and goals. Specialty Requirements are outlined following the Major Requirements.

Major Requirements

To fulfill the requirements of the major, all students in this program will take the following coursework in a sequence determined in collaboration with a faculty advisor. All students also must fulfill Liberal Arts Core and University requirements, and some of the following courses may also satisfy those requirements.

Business Administration Minor

This minor offers great flexibility to students who want to supplement a major in a different field of study. The Business minor equips students to learn business basics as well as to gain additional depth of business knowledge in a specific area.

When selecting electives toward fulfillment of this minor, it is important to keep in mind that many business courses have prerequisites. For example, students who plan to take a course in advertising will first have to complete Principles of Marketing.

  • 15 additional credits in Marymount Business courses approved by the dean of the School or his designee. (Information Technology majors: these additional credits cannot include IT courses.)
