Toni R. Ardabell is the chief executive officer of Bon Secours Virginia Health System, a $2.1 billion health system with eight acute-care hospitals in Richmond and Hampton Roads. Prior to becoming CEO of Virginia, Toni served for six years as the CEO of St. Mary’s Hospital, the Richmond health system’s flagship hospital.
Committed to community involvement, Toni serves on a number of boards, including the Penn State University’s Dean’s Advisory Board of the College of Nursing, the Chamber Foundation Board, Boys & Girls Club of Richmond, the Bon Secours Richmond Health System board and the Bon Secours Foundation board. She is also an active member of Venture Richmond, the Virginia Business Council (VBC) and the Management Round Table (MRT).
Prior to joining Bon Secours, she served the COO for the Inova Fairfax Hospital campus. A native of Pennsylvania, Toni earned her bachelor of science in nursing from Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA, her master of science in nursing from Catholic University of America, in Washington, D.C., and her master in business administration from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia.
