Chaitenya Razdan is the Co-Founder and CEO of Care+Wear.

He is a proud University of Virginia alum with an MBA from the University of Chicago School of Business. He previously spent time as a strategy consultant at A.T. Kearney and an investment banker at Goldman Sachs.

He co-founded Care+Wear after having friends and family diagnosed with cancer and told to wear tube socks on their arms. We felt there was an incredible opportunity to build a brand focused on enabling people to live their lives – regardless of whether you’re facing cancer, diabetes, a broken bone, tennis elbow, living with cerebral palsy or in need of compression clothing.

The company makes innovative healthwear to improve the healing experience for patients everywhere with the goal of creating a brand focused on helping patients get back to living their lives. As part of its mission and strategy, the company partners with non-profit foundations including the American Cancer Society. The company has launched its second product (polos, t-shirts and blouses for port patients) and are in the middle of product development collaborating with Lucy Jones (Parsons Designer of the Year / Forbes 30 under 30) on gloves for people in wheelchairs. Care+Wear also collaborates with other brands and schools including Parsons and Major League Baseball as well.

Care+Wear’s first product, an ultra-soft, antimicrobial PICC line cover, is designed to help the 6 MM people each year who live with a PICC line as part of chemotherapy or IV antibiotic treatment. Developed with doctors and nurses, the cover is available at leading hospitals and retailers including the VA and Walgreens.

Nicknamed "Smiley" in middle school basketball camp, he has tried to bring a smile wherever he goes. A die-hard Baltimore fan, he continues to cheer for the Orioles and Ravens and can often be found running up the West Side Highway in the mornings. In his spare time, he helps to plan his class reunions for UVA and Booth and serves on young alumni boards for UVA.
