If you are admitted to the MA program in English and Humanities, you may elect to embed the curriculum requirements for a graduate certificate in Teaching English at the Community College into your master’s degree coursework. The TECC certificate curriculum prepares you to teach English and Composition in U.S. community colleges and offers you a strong foundational understanding of pedagogical practices shaped by research and reflection.
