Discover Research

Research and creative works with a faculty mentor are important components of both the undergraduate and graduate education experience at Marymount University.

The DISCOVER Research Center

The Discover Research Center is located (virtually) in the Office of Research and Graduate Education and is responsible for the following aspects of student and facult research at Marymount.
  • funding the summer research program for students and faculty mentors
  • supporting the annual Student Research Conference in April, as well as workshops throughout the year for students
  • providing a database of faculty interested in working with students on research and creative endeavors.
  • providing funding for students to present their work at professional conferences. Please read through our Policies and Prodecures prior to applying for student travel funding.

In addition, students and faculty can publish their research in our on-campus publication, Marymount’s Magnificat.
