Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)

In 2017, graduates of the MS Health Education and Promotion program had a 100% pass rate on the CHES exam!  

Credentialing is an umbrella term referring to the various means employed to designate that individuals have met or exceeded established standards.  The Health Education profession has chosen certification as the method of individual credentialing for the profession. 
 
The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing Inc (NCHEC) is the professional certification program that establishes a national standard for individual health education practitioners.  Below are  some of the reasons why obtaining your CHES is an important part of the profession:www.nchec.org
