Commencement Tickets

Each student will receive six guest tickets for the commencement ceremony. Every guest needs a ticket to enter. (Infants and small toddlers who will sit on laps do not need a ticket.) The graduating student does not need a ticket.

Undergraduate Ceremony 

Tickets for the Undergraduate Ceremony must be picked up in the Office of Student Affairs, Gerard Hall Room 1028 in late April. Students who wish to request extra tickets will receive information on the extra ticket lottery when they pick up their original allotment. Each student must pick up their own tickets.  Students may not pick up for friends.

What to Bring to Ticket Pickup:

  • A Valid Photo ID 
  • Your graduating student survey confirmation of completion. Your personalized survey link will come to your Marymount email by late March.  You will not be able to pick up your tickets until your survey is complete.  At the conclusion of the survey you will see a confirmation page - print or screenshot that and bring it with you to pick up your tickets.

Please Note:
  • All academic criteria must be met and the graduation petition must be submitted on time in order to walk at either the undergraduate or graduate commencement ceremonies.  
  • The possession of tickets and/or a cap and gown does not guarantee participation in the ceremony.  Please contact your academic school with any questions or concerns.
  • Ceremony tickets are not guaranteed past the designated distribution week. Tickets are free of charge.  Any individual attempting to sell a graduation ticket for profit is subject to Marymount University's judicial process.


Graduate Ceremony 

Tickets for the Graduate Ceremony will be available for pickup in late April.
