Ethics & Values

“Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.”
-Corinthians 4:2

In today’s complex society, ethical issues confront us at every turn. Every area of life – from business and technology to health care and education – requires ethical decision-making.

A Marymount education prepares students to meet these challenges both in college and in life. Marymount emphasizes ethics and values across the curriculum and in all aspects of campus life.

The University’s commitment to a values-based education is intricately linked with Marymount’s Catholic foundation and traditions. At its best, a university inspires students to search for the truth and provides a forum for discussion and reflection on timeless questions and their ethical implications.
