IS 133 – Mathematical Biology (3 credits)
This institute is ideal for students who are considering a major in Mathematics or Biology. The increasingly interdisciplinary nature of these fields makes this a fantastic opportunity to explore these subjects and their relationships in day-to-day life.
As a participant in this institute, you will work on a problem, approaching a solution from either a science perspective or through a mathematical lens.
You will also collaborate in an interdisciplinary research project using Marymount's newest academic building dedicated to mathematics and the sciences, featuring state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and interactive classrooms. You will be mentored by faculty members who have extensive experience working with students on timely and topical research projects.
