Meet the Staff

Frank Rizzo, Associate Vice President and Dean for Student Development

Frank serves as the Associate Vice President and Dean for Student Development in the Division of Student Development and Enrollment Management. He came to Marymount in 2003, after working at St. Thomas University in Miami and Fordham University. Frank earned both his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Master of Science in Education, Counseling and Personnel Services at Fordham. In his role as Associate Vice President and Dean for Student Development, he oversees the areas in Student Development, as well as working on major university initiatives.

Kelly L. DeSenti, Assistant Dean for Student Development

Kelly is the Assistant Dean for Student Development, directly managing New Student Programs at Marymount. In addition, she supervises the offices of Campus and Residential Services, Student Activities, Career & Internship Center, Disability Support Services, and Leadership Development. Kelly joined the Marymount staff in 2000. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth and Master of Science in Psychological Services from Springfield College.

Marjory Eisenman, Liaison to the Dean for Student Development

Marjory came to Marymount in 2006 in the role of Liaison to the Dean for Student Development. In this position, she works with the staff in all areas within Student Development and assists with professional development, budgets, and candidate searches. In addition, Marjory leads the Family Orientation program. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and American Studies from the University of Kansas and a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Iowa State University.

Brandon Jenkins, Coordinator for Commuter Services, Leadership Development, and Spirit Programs

As the Coordinator for Commuter Services, Leadership Development, and Spirit Programs, Brandon has a multi-faceted job. He advises the Commuter Activities Board, Student Government Association, and the Bernie mascot, in addition to developing leadership workshops and spirit activities on campus. Brandon came to Marymount in 2008 after earning a Master of Higher Education Administration from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Science from Clarion University.

Corri Pfister, Coordinator for New Student Transistions

Corri came to Marymount in the spring of 2012 as the Coordinator for New Student Transistions. In this role Corri coordinates all programming for new first year and transfer students, including New Student Orientation and the Peer Mentor program. Corri earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Lynchburg College and a Master of Education in Community Counseling from Lynchburg College.

Elliot N. Uhl, Coordinator for Student Development and Employment

Elliot started in 2009 as the Administrative Assistant in Student Development. During the summer of 2011 he transitioned to become the Coordinator for Student Development and Employment where he assists students in locating on-campus employment opportunities. Elliot earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Iowa State University and is currently enrolled in the Master of Business Administration program at Marymount University.

Sarah Burnett, Administrative Assistant

Sarah joined the Student Development staff in 2011. She supervises the student employees and assists the staff in the Office of Student Development with day to day operations. Sarah earned a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Marymount University and plans to continue her education at Marymount.
