Supervisor Responsibilities

To ensure the success of Marymount’s student employment programs, both employers and student employees are expected to observe their respective responsibilities and expectations. The student’s supervisor is a vital and integral part of these programs. In general, supervisors are expected to do the following with each student employee:

  • Set goals and objectives
  • Delegate work responsibilities
  • Provide necessary assistance and support
  • Develop a supportive working relationship
  • Encourage continued development
  • Provide opportunities for future growth and development
