To ensure the success of Marymount’s student employment programs, both employers and student employees are expected to observe their respective responsibilities and expectations. The student’s supervisor is a vital and integral part of these programs. In general, supervisors are expected to do the following with each student employee:
- Set goals and objectives
- Delegate work responsibilities
- Provide necessary assistance and support
- Develop a supportive working relationship
- Encourage continued development
- Provide opportunities for future growth and development
