Marymount’s Peer Mentor Program helps first-year students transition into college life by providing an upperclass student as a peer resource. Peer mentors help new students learn more about Marymount, answer questions, plan activities, and help them get connected to their new community.
Peer mentors assist
DISCOVER 101 instructors in a variety of ways. Each peer mentor is assigned to a section of DISCOVER 101. They attend the class sessions and participate in a variety of ways. They can serve as a resource both in and out of the classroom for these students. They also help organize other first-year experience activities.
