Residency Requirement

Students age 21 or younger and in their first four semesters of college are required to live on campus. Room assignment priority is given to full-time, degree-seeking students 23 years of age or younger at the time that they first become residents. Other students should consult with the Campus and Residential Services staff concerning the application process and an appeal to the age requirements.

Because academics are a priority at Marymount, resident students are required to carry a minimum of 12 credits per semester with the exception of the summer term. If you choose not to attend classes on a regular basis and/or drop below 12 credits, you risk losing your housing! If you believe you will drop below 12 credits in the fall or spring term, please contact your residence director for more information.
