  • Bed sheets and comforter (80-inch long recommended for twin XL beds)
  • Coffee makers
  • Computers and printers (virus protection required)
  • Fan
  • Hair dryers
  • Irons and small table-top ironing board
  • Pets (fish only!)
  • Pillows
  • Refrigerators (2 cubic feet or 10 amps)
    • Save time and money by renting one
  • Surge protectors/power strips (encouraged)
  • Non-halogen table or floor lamps
  • Telephone
  • Televisions/VCR and DVD players/stereos/radios (headphones if needed)

  • Air conditioner
  • Ammunition
  • Amplified equipment
  • Candles with wicks
  • Electric frying pans
  • Fireworks
  • Incense
  • Microwave Oven (except for the approved microfridge unit)
  • Pets (except for fish)
  • Space Heaters
  • Toaster ovens/toasters
  • Waterbeds
  • Weapons (real and/or perceived)
 
All residents are encouraged to purchase renter’s/personal property insurance if not covered by their parents’ policy. These insurance plans cover accidental property damage caused by fire, water, or theft that could potentially occur within the residence halls.
