Classroom Presentations

Are you interested in having a speaker come in to your class to discuss career development? Do you need to cancel a class because you will be out-of-town or have other schedule conflicts? Let us cover it with a presentation about our services and a career development topic relevant to your student’s needs! The Center for Career Services offers classroom presentations in a wide variety of areas:

  • Overview of Center for Career Services
  • Resume and Cover Letter Writing
  • Interviewing Skills
  • Internship and Job Search Strategies
  • Networking
  • Evaluating and Negotiating Job Offers
  • Dress for Success

In addition, we are open to collaborating with faculty and departments to create additional presentations, discipline-specific events, and panel presentations featuring alumni and working professionals. Contact us at (703) 284-560 to request any of these presentations, or to have one customized to your needs.
