A club activity, the Marymount Dance Team was originally run and managed by students. In 2007, the team was granted funds for a coach. Since this time, the team has tried to increase its involvement in Marymount University activities and events. Although the team has a coach to manage the team, a lot of the choreography still comes from the captains who play an integral leadership role on the team. In 2010, the team entered their choreography for a bid to the National Dance Association (NDA) competition.
