Dr. Jane Uebelhoer has been a member of Marymount’s School of Business Administration faculty since 1992. Her appointment as a philosopher to teach business ethics illustrates the University’s commitment to ethics as a hallmark of a Marymount education.
Dr. Uebelhoer brings varied experience to her post. Having been awarded a Congressional Fellowship, she remained on Capitol Hill for 10 years, developing an expertise in banking and housing issues. She has taught at large and small, public and private universities, in the U.S. and internationally.
In addition to an active research and presentation schedule, Dr. Uebelhoer works with students one-on-one in many capacities. She has a hand in all universitywide ethics programs including the annual Faculty Ethics Seminar, the annual Ethics Awareness Week, the University Ethics Committee, and events sponsored by the Center for Ethical Concerns.
