George Cheatham joined Marymount University in 2010 as dean of the School of Arts and Sciences and a professor of English.
Over his career, Dr. Cheatham has taught a wide range of courses spanning British, American, and world literature; literary theory and research methods; and composition at all levels. He has most enjoyed teaching Shakespeare and literary theory. His research interests have lately centered on narrative theory and the short fiction of Ernest Hemingway.
