Bringing a wealth of teaching and research experience, Dr. Barbara B. Kreutzer has been a part of Marymount University’s faculty since 2007. She presents and also mentors grant-funded and award-winning student presentations in several venues, including the American Society of Cell Biology, American Chemical Society, and Association of Southeastern Biologists.
Dr. Kreutzer is involved with the Marymount community as a faculty advisor to the Marymount Science Club and BIOS Student Honor Society, and serves on the University Assessment Committee. She directs several undergraduate research projects and manages the cell biology lab.
Beyond the University, Dr. Kreutzer is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Chemical Society, American Society of Cell Biology and the Virginia Academy of Science. She volunteers on several review boards and in local community education and environment activities.
