With expertise in management of the medically complex patient, Dr. Cathy Elrod has been part of Marymount’s faculty since 1997. She has practiced in home health and at large tertiary trauma hospitals, including the Medical University Hospital of the Medical University of South Carolina and Inova Fairfax Hospital. She has extensive experience in acute care, including the management of patients with burns, as well as neurological, medical-surgical, oncological, cardiopulmonary, wound, and critical care diagnoses.
Dr. Elrod is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Virginia Physical Therapy Association where she has held positions at the state and national level.
