Dr. Theresia Atanga Wansi has been part of Marymount’s faculty since 2007. In addition to teaching in the areas of finance, economics, and management information systems, Dr. Wansi also writes and speaks about her areas of research interest. Her works in progress include an investigation of foreign reserve management policies in East Asian countries and the contagion effect of financial crises in the world market.

Dr. Wansi’s paper entitled “Changing Risk, Return and Leverage: The 1997 Asian Financial Crisis,” co-authored with Dr. Maroney and Dr. Naka, was published in the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis (March 2004). She has made several presentations at annual and regional conferences on such topics as
