Dr. Gulyn has been a faculty member at Marymount since 1994 and specializes in courses in developmental and social psychology. She earned her Ph.D. in 1991 from the University of Pennsylvania in Human Development and went on to research positions in children's television and educational media.
She specializes in human development and has conducted research on, written, and presented on such topics as children and the media, effects of advertising on children, children’s fears, multiple-birth children, and children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Dr. Gulyn has been selected by Marymount students to be the recipient of the Robert A. Draghi Outstanding Faculty Award.
She is also the proud parent of two sets of twin boys!
